Description
The Sunday evening of January 20, 2019 brought a showy event to the sky - a total lunar eclipse. This picture was taken right before the eclipse was clearly visible. It is called a super moon because it happened during one of the few times of the year when it is nearest the Earth. The designation of Wolf refers to this time of winter where survival through planning and teamwork are our greatest assets. Finally, it’s called a blood moon because the Earth is blocking out most of the sun’s rays casting a reddish-orange hue. Appearing in the zodiac sign of Cancer puts special focus on the home and activities where nurturing is important. It is a time to let go of what is no longer needed to make room for that which is essential and vital for our wellbeing.
