Description
Desert Globemallow, Sphaeralcea ambigua, is a beautiful orange wildflower that blankets the Sonoran Desert of Arizona in times of plentiful rain. While that’s mostly during monsoon season in the summer, they also pop up in the middle of winter. These tall stalks were caught creeping through the rails of some steps after a major flood. Gorgeous little things and the bees and butterflies love them too!
