It's a freeze-frame from a video I did over a decade ago (2008) about Sonoran Desert Toads: https://youtu.be/1l3s2UKoEIA In fact, I’ve done several videos featuring this interesting animal and you can find them on my YouTube channel. I found this particular toad in my duck’s pool one morning. While filming him, a paper wasp landed on his head. if you look closer, you’ll see a house fly on top of the paper wasp. I do not know what was going on here, but I do know that these toads will eat bees and flies if given the chance, and probably wasps too. But that didn’t happen in this instance. The wasp just sat there for almost a minute while the toad just took it all in. I can’t say the same for the fly - he was there and gone in a second. Because the photo is so old and not the best resolution, it’s probably not suitable for wall hanging.
